Visit Octavius Hunt’s Stand at PestEx in London
Octavius Hunt will be exhibiting in the UK for the first time.
After a successful exhibition at Parasitec in Paris last year, we are keen to continue to reach out to current and new customers and look forward to PestEx at the London Excel Centre in March.
PestEx is the largest UK trade show for the pest control industry and brings visitors from across the world. Hosted by the British Pest Control Association it is held every two years with this year’s exhibition taking place on the 22nd and 23rd March.
You can find Octavius Hunt at stand 54. Not only will we display our full product range of smoke generators but we are also running an exciting competition where you will have a chance to win a limited edition case of “Smoked Porter beer” – brewed by our very own Technical Manager (in his own time… no pesticides!).

Octavius Hunt to Exhibit at ConExPest, Poland
Octavius Hunt is really excited to be exhibiting at ConExPest in Poland this year. This exhibition is run by the Polish Pest Control Association and is held every 3 years so this is a great opportunity for us to showcase our smoke generators and pellets.
ConExPest 2017 will be held on the 11th and 12th May at the Wroclaw Conference Centre. It is one of the largest pest control industry events in Eastern Europe and is an ideal meeting place for distributors, manufacturers and service providers. The Polish Pest Control Association has been operating for over 20 years and is working towards increasing awareness of the challenges within the industry and promoting pest control methods in order to protect public health.

Octavius Hunt is attending Grain Tech Expo in Ukraine
We are pleased to announce that our Business Development Manager, Olesja Drozdova, will be attending the “Grain Tech Expo” – biggest agro-industrial forum, which holds leading place in the agricultural sector of Ukraine.
The exhibition will take place from the 15th – 17th February 2017 at the exhibition centre “Kiev Expo Plaza”.
Grain Tech aims to unite the leading professionals of grain market and covers a wide range of the innovative solutions in different stages of production, storing, processing and transportation of grain, leguminous and oil crops.
Here you will have the chance to speak in more detail and find out more information about our products, especially about Actellic Smoke Generator, which is a broad spectrum acaricide/insecticide for use in empty grain stores for the control of rust-red flour beetle, saw toothed grain beetle, grain weevil, flour moth and grain mite.

Octavius Hunt heads to Grain Tech Expo with FG Group
Our Technical Director Nick Dale attended Kiev’s Grain Tech Expo last week and was pleased to visit the stand of one of our newest distributors, FG Group. Octavius Hunt now have two distributors in the Ukraine: FG Group and Spetstechnologia. Whilst on the stand Nick was lucky enough to meet with the Ukrainian Minister for Agriculture.
Grain Tech is known as the biggest agro-industrial forum, which holds leading place in the agricultural sector of Ukraine.
The exhibition aims to unite the leading professionals of grain market and covers a wide range of agricultural issues including agricultural machinery and equipment, technologies for grain crops production, equipment for storage and process of grain and oil crops, mixed-fodders production, equipment for elevators and silos, milling equipment, seeds, plant protection, laboratory and weighting equipment to name a few!
Pest World East this month in Dubai
Our Managing Director Kerry Healey will be attending Pest World East in Dubai from the 20th April – 21st April 2015.
Pest World East is a unique conference which will be hosted by National Pest Management and Ecovar, this conference has been set up to address pest management challenges specific to the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and India. Our Managing Director Kerry Healey and Technical Director Nick Dale are in Kiev from the 11th – 13th February 2015 attending the Grain Tech Expo.

Octavius Hunt speaking at the IWCSSP
Our Managing Director Kerry Healey and Technical Director Nick Dale are in Chiang Mai, Thailand and presenting at the IWCSSP from the 24th – 27th November 2014.
This year will be the 11th The International Working Conference on Stored Product Protection (IWCSPP) and is held every four years.
It is the leading world forum for presentation of research results. Which brings together researchers, scientists, consultants, pest management professionals and administrators involved in pest management and quality maintenance of stored raw grains, processed food products, stored spices, stored animal products, artifacts and specimens in museums.

Octavius Hunt to attend Parasitec
Parasitec returns to Paris this year for another 3 day event from the 19th – 21st November.
Key companies who influence the pest production of the world are expected to be there.
With over 2,100 visitors and over 60 exhibitors attending last year, Parasitec promises to be a very busy and interesting exhibition in the fields of pesticide use and manufacturing.
The Octavius Hunt team will be returning to Paris to attend Parasitec on the 19th November. Please let us know if you will also be attending and would like to meet with our Technical Director Nick Dale.
Octavius Hunt due to attend PestTech
PestTech is the major event in the UK Pest Control calendar and is viewed as the largest one-day Pest Control Exhibition in Europe. With over 1000 visitors during the day the success speaks for itself. PestTech is also becoming very well known and highly regarded in the European sector.
Established in 1993 to provide the Pest Control Industry with an opportunity to come face to face with each other. Technicians can meet distributors and view first-hand the products, there are opportunities to learn about training and legislation and old friends can spend an hour or two catching up. PestTech brings together the whole industry and is the perfect opportunity for exhibitors to show delegates what they as a company can offer them, how their products work and help them with any questions that they may have.

BPCA Predicts Explosion of Fleas
It appears a mild winter and a hot summer isn’t always a good thing. The British Pest Control Association is warning pet owners that under such conditions one flea can turn into 125,000 within eight weeks, and can bite 400 times a day!
Fortunately Octavius Hunt’s permethrin smoke generator can solve this problem. Our public health insecticide smokes have knockdown and kill effectiveness and total area coverage.
