BPCA Launch New Exhibition and Conference

PPC Live is a new UK-based technical exhibition and conference held by The British Pest Control Association (BPCA). After the success of PestEx the BPCA was asked to launch PPC which will run in the alternate years to PestEx.

The event is free and designed for UK pest control technicians, managers and company managers. It aims to give attendees a better understanding of how to improve business and develop professional pest control practice. There are close to 50 exhibitors and a wide range of interesting seminars and technical sessions.

Eastern Europe Regulatory Conference 2014

Octavius Hunt Technical Director, Nick Dale is attending this year’s Eastern Europe Regulatory Conference: Registration of Plant Protection Products.

The second Annual Conference will be held in Budapest at the Sofitel Chain Bridge Hotel again this year from 8th- 9th April. The conference will cover a range of topics relating to the registration of plant protection products across eastern Europe.

Eurocido – First Trade Fair for 2014

The Octavius Hunt team plan to attend Eurocido in February this year and look forward to meeting with current and potential customers.

In it’s 11th year, Eurocido is an international trade fair for the pest control industry held in Dortmund, Germany. The fair runs over two days, the 19th and 20th February.

Octavius Hunt to Attend Parasitec 2013

The Octavius Hunt team head to Morocco next week to attend Parasitec 2013. The exhibition leaves French soil this year and will be held in Casablanca from the 12th to 13th November.

This is a popular convention, hosting companies from the pest control and public health industry from all over the world. Octavius Hunt are looking forward to meeting with current and potential customers.

US Registration for Octavius Hunt Mole Smoke

Octavius Hunt has received US registration for their BioFume Mole Smoke. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) awarded the registration certificate last week and Octavius Hunt is now dealing with Messina’s as their distributor.

2013 Registrations and Distributors Update

It’s been a busy year so far for the Octavius Hunt team with new registrations in America and Lebanon and distributor appointments in Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Spain and Portugal.

Octavius Hunt have successfully registered their Permethrin smoke generator in America and as bed bugs are a huge problem in the US they have now submitted a trial protocol to the EPA to add bedbugs to the label.

In Lebanon both Permethrin and Cypermethrin smoke generators have gained registration and Octavius Hunt is now dealing with Boecker as their distributor.

There has been plenty of interest in smoke products across Latin America. Octavius Hunt have recently appointed Dragon in Mexico as a distributor for Permethrin and Actellic smoke generators and Fumitec in Colombia, Costa Rica and Panama as a distributor for Permethrin and the BioFume Greenhouse smoke. Fumitec have also been appointed as distributors in Spain and Portugal for Permethrin and BioFume Greenhouse smoke.

In Hungary Irto Trio have been appointed as distributors of Permethrin smoke generators and in September this year the Octavius Hunt team will present at Irto Trio’s sales conference in Budapest.
